The Triple Door became one of my favorite venues last month when I went to see Too Slim and The Taildraggers there. This restaurant hosts all kinds of performers on it's lavish, gawdy, gold trimmed stage. The food is great, the cocktails are better, and if you can afford it (at least $40 for dinner, drinks and ticket)you will have a great night at this venue. At the same time, the venue also has a smaller lounge, The Musicquarium. There is no cover charge for the bar and I hear they have excellent jazz performers every Monday night, so check it out of your pockets aren't so deep.
